About the EIT Health InnoStars Award event

EIT Health InnoStars is a competition dedicated to micro and small enterprises, spin-offs, and start-ups. To participate, companies are required to have a prototype or a minimally viable product that was not yet put on the market. Companies wishing to participate must be legally incorporated in one of the following countries: Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

Companies that are accepted into the EIT Health InnoStars Awards program will receive EUR 25,000 in “smart money”, four months of mentoring from one person, and training at two European Bootcamps. Participants also take part in interviews with potential customers, investors, or partners.

EIT Health InnoStars Final

Start-ups with the best business plans compete to win €25,000 to support their product or service launch. An international panel of experts selected 6 innovative start-ups to advance to the final round of the competition. It took place on November 16, 2018, in Budapest, where €60,000 in grants were distributed. The winning team received an amount of EUR 25,000. The second prize is EUR 20,000 and the third prize is EUR 15,000. FindAir was awarded a second prize with its product – The FindAir system, which consists of a smart inhaler add-on and the FindAir app.
